Where Did You Get That - A Comprehensive Tennis Buying Guide

Where Did You Get That - A Comprehensive Tennis Buying Guide

“Where did you get that?” one kid asked me when I was changing my over-grip.

“At the shop” I replied.

“what shop?”

“em… the tennis pro shop?”

“Thank you for the session, I really like tennis now!”

“Glad to hear it!”

“I think I should commit and buy my own racquet! what’s the best place to go and buy one?”

“em…”

Recent conversations with players had lead me to think that I should write up a blog for players who are new to tennis and guide them where they can buy tennis things.

So here it is!

Local Pro Shop

Most decent sized tennis centres would have their own pro shop where you can find many demo racquets, grips, strings, balls, etc.

For example, Roy Emerson Tennis Centre has a very organized pro shop, University of Queensland tennis centre also has their own.

If you prefer shopping in person, search for a centre nearby and pay them a visit!

Online Shops

If something you want is not available at your local centre, or you want to quickly check some online sales, have a look at the links below.

Where do you buy your tennis things? Is it on the list? If not, please leave a comment below! Sharing is caring!
